Digital Internet Infrastructure: another Umo Eno exploit at Victor Attah Int’l Airport – FOSMAI
Forum of Social Media Administrators and Influencers FOSMAI, described digital Internet Infrastructure at Victor Attah International Airport, as another Governor Umo Eno’s administrative exploit in the state.
The Forum witnessed the official switch-on of the high speed internet connectivity infrastructure, and has applauded His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, for strengthening digital economy in the state.
The Chairman, Forum of Social Media Administrators and Influencers FOSMAI, Comrade Samuel Bassey, while addressing members of FOSMAI at the Victor Attah International Airport said, the new investment at the Airport was part of Governor’s attempt to make the airport an international aviation hub.
“When reporting this significant milestone of His Excellency, we must understand that, the creation of this efficient internet infrastructure, is not only strategic, but many-sided investment, which is expected to support development needs of the airport, the overall state economy and security architecture and surveillance, under the ARISE Agenda”, Comrade Bassey explained.
The Chairman commended the state’s technical partners, MainOne, who activated the infrastructure, for their role in delivering world class digital Infrastructure.
Comrade Samuel Bassey told members of FOSMAI that, under ARISE Agenda, the administration of Pastor Umo Eno is resolved to embrace digital technology, innovation and digital economy. He said His Excellency’s intention is to grow the state’s internal generated revenue, given Treasury Single Account TSA, implementation.
” We know these, things because we are all part of the system, I am only reminding us, so that we know those points to dabble with when reporting”, Comrade Samuel Bassey reminded FOSMAI members.
Comrade Bassey said members should take into consideration digital possibilities, as Akwa Ibom moves toward a smart and digital ecosystem. The high speed internet connectivity infrastructure will helped build foundation necessary to drive the state digitally.
Quoting Dr. Frank Ekpeyong, the Honourable Commissioner, in charge of Science and Digital Economy, when interviewed, Comrade Bassey said the high speed internet connectivity infrastructure activated, will provide connectivity at a multi-gigabit-per-second capacity.
Kudos to the people of Akwa Ibom, as the state, Akwa Ibom is now connected to the global digital network through the submarine fiber-optic cable infrastructure extended across the Atlantic ocean.
FOSMAI has thanked His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno for the foresight and commitment to digital transformation of the state, in an age where information technology and connectivity are indispensable to the state growth.
Akwa Ibom, as it were is the first in the country to adopt digital technology, thus, a significant milestone in the state. FOSMAI Chairman, Comrade Samuel Bassey advised members to continue to keep to their best by providing a detailed reportage on the investment. He assured them that in every labour, there is rewards.
